Reg & Rick

Well how lucky am I?? I was booked for Saturday 26 June to perform at the Winter Gardens Margate. I was booked to play music during a dinner for over 600 people. (not my norm!) They had a surprise celeb booked, and just as I finished my sound check he walked in. Rock legend RICK WAKEMAN!!
We shared a dressing room and exchanged anecdotes and chatted. Rock legend he may be, but in addition a gentleman and thouroughly nice bloke.
If someone had told me years ago that I would be playing on the same bill as Rick Wakeman I would not have believed it. Thanks to Miki Travis for giving me the oppourtunity to perform that night.

It's just a thought

Children with special needs dont have an illness, so there is no cure and its not
contageous.They want what we all want - to be accepted. Its special education week,and this is in honour of all the kids who need a little extra help and understanding
